Ecogain Biodiversity Index (EBI)

The Ecogain Biodiversity Index (EBI) examines how large companies report on biodiversity in their sustainability reports; how they identify, set targets, implement actions and monitor biodiversity. The main purpose of the EBI is to provide an overview of how companies are performing in setting targets and reducing impacts on biodiversity, and to inspire companies to act and report on the topic in a transparent way.

Review of the largest companies' work on biodiversity

The EBI reports have included reviews of the largest companies in both Europe and the US, comparing their performance and commitments to biodiversity. The results show both individual company and industry performance, and provide insights into how different markets are addressing biodiversity.
