The Alvar Gala award for "Sustainable Company of the Year" is presented by Boliden, which nominated Ecogain for the award with the motivation:

They specialize in finding solutions that both create business value and drive development towards real sustainability. Ecogain is a strong contributor to the sustainable development of our region and with a special focus on biodiversity, they show how it can be the basis for sustainable economic growth."
The winner will be announced at the Alvar Gala on January 28, 2022
Alvargalan is Skellefteå's annual business gala. It has been organized since 2010 by the Friends of the Alvar Gala, which consists of a broad representation of the region's business organizations. At the gala, a total of twelve prizes are awarded in as many categories.
