Ånge municipality has voted in favor of OX2's Marktjärn wind farm, which is planned to produce approximately 1.1 TWh annually and support the upcoming industrial cluster in Torpshammar. Ecogain has worked with OX2 on the project from consultation to the submission of the permit application, with a focus on sustainable land use.

We look forward to following the development of Marktjärn and its contribution to local energy supply. In addition to the planned biodiversity enhancement measures, the wind farm will also provide revenue sharing to local residents, compensation for wind uptake and a village allowance.
