The right skills in place
The Brännliden wind power project is located in Skellefteå municipality in Västerbotten. The entire facility comprises 10 wind turbines, based on an environmental permit under the Environmental Code. Construction began in the fall of 2018.
Ecogain's assignment at Brännliden is about OX2 wanting to involve our expertise in nature and landscape and environmental management. The environmental permit contains conditions relating to valuable natural environments, watercourses and various species. Our task is to ensure that the company fulfills its commitments and that the conditions are met, so that the entire construction of the wind farm goes right.

Environmental coordinator
Ecogain was therefore commissioned to act as on-site environmental coordinator. This means ensuring that all the nature and landscape commitments in the environmental permit are respected on site and followed up throughout the construction project.
Initially, we developed an environmental action plan, which is the starting point for coordinating further work. Together with OX2's site managers and contractors, we carry out regular environmental rounds on site before and during all stages of the construction work.
