There is a global awakening in politics, finance and business around the loss of biodiversity as the next big environmental issue. To continue to drive development in the area, Ecogain is now broadening its operations on the business development side and bringing in more consultants with key expertise in business development, change management, digitization and sustainability communication.
In particular, we see an increasing need to raise biodiversity issues to a higher strategic level, and to place them in a wider business context. Companies increasingly see biodiversity as a critical issue for their business and should therefore be integrated into the business strategy. Therefore, we are very pleased to bring in additional expertise to meet the increasing demand.

A new office is established in Luleå, where Pernilla Pihl Kearney is employed. Pernilla's expertise in sustainable development, with a focus on strategy work, business development and sustainability communication, will support steering and management teams at companies that want to strengthen the business strategy parts of sustainability work. This is to maximize business benefits, create increased competitiveness and a strengthened brand position.
We need a market economy that is on nature's terms! This places completely new demands on companies, which cannot afford to take in and work with the issues to the extent required if it does not also drive the business. In my work at Ecogain, I will help clients integrate sustainability issues into their operations and business development to create business benefits in both the short and long term, so that the sustainability work itself becomes profitable and builds the future business.
- Pernilla Pihl Kearney.
Strongly increased demand for measurability and transparency leads to the need for digital solutions to manage large amounts of data. Therefore, Ecogain is also investing in digitization to assist the business community in more efficiently collecting, evaluating and managing data and thereby communicating their work for biodiversity.
In Stockholm, the team is strengthened with Carina Andersson, in the role of strategic advisor and project manager. Carina's solid knowledge and experience in, among other things, innovation, behavioral science and the latest technology development strengthens Ecogain in the work of change management and implementation of digitization in the companies of our customers.
Our ability to integrate knowledge about nature and the climate into both business logic and innovation is crucial to our success in this complex societal transition we are all part of. Digitalization is bringing us closer together across industries. Access to vast amounts of data is increasing, we are getting better at learning what works in practice, and we are getting faster at implementing new ways of working for collaboration across systems and value chains. I like that Ecogain has a central role in this type of collaboration both in Sweden but also internationally.
- Carina Andersson.
