In early summer, Boliden, Cementa, LKAB, SCA, Skellefteå Kraft, Specialfastigheter, Svenska Kraftnät, Vattenfall and Ecogain joined forces in a joint initiative to develop a standardized method for measuring biodiversity in land-use change. Now, in the first phase of the comprehensive project, intensive work is underway to identify the needs of companies and stakeholders for a standardized tool.
The feeling from the last meeting is incredibly positive; there is a huge commitment and drive within the project and it will be exciting to eventually present the results from the initial phase
- Maja Sundqvist, Project Manager Ecogain.
