Ecogain has offered to participate in the government's investigation into simplified and shortened permit processes under the Environmental Code. With extensive experience of permitting processes in various fields, Ecogain is well positioned to contribute with updated and in-depth knowledge of how the processes work in practice and what measures can be taken to speed up the transition from idea to established business.
Ecogain has developed processes and solutions for many services, including consultations, environmental assessments, EIAs, various types of inventories and species protection assessments. Every year we carry out around one hundred customized special studies.
Ecogain also has a strong presence in the wind power sector. Over the past five years, we have carried out more than 40 wind power permit assignments throughout Sweden and have been involved in the permit process for 65% of all wind turbines built since 2017. We have written EIAs for at least 10 projects that have received permits and have a high level of expertise in ecology, species protection legislation, environmental assessment and the permit process.
By participating in the expert group, Ecogain would be able to bring its extensive expertise and contribute to the investigation. Our broad knowledge and experience would be invaluable in promoting a smoother and more efficient process and thus sustainable development and faster establishment of businesses.
